Fouquet's Barrière Hotel

Charles MacPherson Associates Inc. was retained in October 2007 by Fouquet’s Barrière Hotel in Paris France. The hotel has established a reputation as one of the top hotels in Paris and is the only hotel in France with Butler service for every room in the hotel.

They found that implementing Butler Service caused some integration difficulties with the other Hotel departments.

• Our first assignment was to identify a new head Butler for the Hotel to run the department
• We are currently working on rewriting all of the policies and procedures to integrate the Butler Department with the other Hotel Departments
• We are also creating a complete training course for the Butler department
• Additionally, we are developing a “Train the Trainer” program which will allow the Hotel staff to train new hires and maintain the new standards that we have recommended
• We implemented the complete training program in February 2008
